Here’s what Dan says about his commute to Network222:

My wife and I decided to buy a house within biking range of our jobs, both in downtown Madison. I ride about three miles one way, which takes me 15-20 minutes, all on low-traffic roads. I bike as far into winter as is safe, then switch to taking Madison Metro. My entire bus trip, including the wait, takes about 5-10 minutes longer than biking to work.

What do you like best about biking to work?
Getting exercise wakes me up in the morning and helps me unwind after a long day of sitting at my desk. I like the flexibility of being able to ride my bike to campus for a class at any point during the day.

What’s the worst thing about biking?
I dislike biking in traffic, especially breathing in car and scooter exhaust.

Do you have a favorite lunch spot within walking distance of Network222?
I walk to State Street for lunch every day with a group from my office. We go to Jimmy Johns a lot.
