Car-Free Challenge Results
The Network222 Car-Free Challenge team reduced their driving by 709 vehicle miles, an average of 55 miles per person in two weeks (Sept 22 - Oct 5, 2005). By rethinking their car use and reducing where they could, team members representing Charlton, First Weber, MMOCA, Stafford Rosenbaum, Sonic Foundary and more joined 766 area residents in this fun annual event. Special congratulations to Debby Dines of First Weber, who walked 46 miles, and Peter Mateja of Sonic Foundry, who eliminated 162 car miles during the 2-week challenge!
