Riding a Metro Transit bus makes such great sense. By taking the bus even some of the time, you will save hundreds of dollars a year on gas, parking, and car maintenance. Tax-free fringe benefit

Convenient schedules and stops
Metro Transit Routes, 8, 12 and 27 stop at the front door of Network222. From 5:30 a.m. until midnight, there are more than 20 routes that serve the Capitol Square and State Street, with stops just a few minutes away. At peak hours, 6:00-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-7:00 p.m., a bus arrives every 15-30 minutes. Visit Metro's site for detailed route and schedule information.

High-tech helps
Metro's new global positioning system and voice announcements alert riders to upcoming stops, and identify bus routes to those waiting on the curb. Electronic signs at transfer points offer "real time" announcements just like a big city transit station. If you haven't yet tried the new "smart card" system, you'll find it fast and easy.

Rack & roll

Accessible services
All Metro routes provide accessible service, and service animals are allowed on buses to assist people with disabilities.
